Super Rich Recipe!!!! SOOO YUMMY!!!!!!

This is VERY rich but so good. I have made it several times and has been a BIG crowd pleaser...

Brown Sugar Pound Cake:

1 Box light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 stick (real butter) softened
5 eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1/2 t salt
1 t baking powder
1 t vanilla
1 t maple flavoring
1 cup milk

Combine sugars and butter well. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. I seperate bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl mix milk, vanilla, maple. Add flour and milk mixture to butter mixter alternately, starting with flour and ending with flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done in a bunt pan. cool completly before frosting. Frosting:

1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
6 T milk
1 and 1/8 cup confectioners sugar

Melt butter and brown sugar over low heat. Boil 2 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in milk. Return to heat: bring to a slow boil and add confectioner's sugar. Remove from heat and beat until smoth. Let cool and spread over cake.
