It really is just not fair. I remember my first year in the city we have a crazy amont of pd after labor day and kids didn't start until the 13th!!! Those were the days Chat Icon

I remember the one year I think we had a week or a week and a half of PD and the kids didn;t start until the second week of September. That was 2004. We ended so late that year

do you think that the city will ever pay more money for credits past the 30-above?

its So unfair that in nassau county, they get a $5,000 raise every 15 credits. we get almost $3,000 for 30. thats it. anything after that, they dont pay us extra for...

especially stinks because my masters degree was 60 credits.

I've been thinking the same thing. If the city wants the best and most professional teacher it can get, it needs to reward and motivate us. I really love taking classes, but I just can't afford to do it for fun.
