Vermont..Where to stay?

My DH and I want to book a trip for after the Holidays (probably Feb). We are torn between a few things, but one of o ur choices is Vermont.
I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT VERMONT!

So with that being said, I need help...we want a luxury hotel, something very nice, clean!!, 4-5 star. Will we find something like that there? I really have no clue!
Also, do you usually drive or fly there
Lastly, is 4 night ok to go?

I think that there are some beautiful resort hotels in Manchester Vermont.

Do you want to be at a ski resort? Many of them have very nice hotels.

If you dont want to be right on a mountain, the Woodstock Inn is a gorgeous old hotel, its about 30 miles from Killington if you are looking for skiing. Woodstock is a cute little town with shopping and resteraunts.

I'm staying at the Equinox Resort in October. I've heard good things about it and it's a luxury hotel.

We usually stay at Stratton. It is about 20 minutes to Manchester if you want to go shopping. The resort has a few restaurants, bar, and a spa. It is very nice. Couple and family friendly!
