Cn anyone recomend a surgeon?

More specifically, one who can do hernia surgery related to acid reflux?

My DH NEEDS to have this surgery soon...

We are having a hard time finding a surgeon who will do it. His gastro. doesn't do it and the doc he recommended does not take DH's insurance.

SOme other docs we were recommended to do not perform that surgery any longer.

Also, Nassau County would be prefered.

Is this for your DH or DD?? I assume its a typo and for your DH.

My dad's surgeon might do it. He had the esophageal cancer removed by him. I'll ask my dad what's his doc's name was.

I would recommend Dr. Michael Khaliffe,
he is with Winthrop Surgical Associates.

He did my gall bladder and he is excellent.

My doc is in NYC at MT. Sinai but doesn't take insurance. He will submit all claims for you for out of network costs and negotiate with you about the overall price of the surgery though. Super guy and brilliant. I consulted with 3 doctors before choosing him.

He was out of network for me and my $11,000 surgery ended up costing us about $500.

He is one of the top rated colorectal surgeons in the country. He does everything.

Ok, here's the info. I truly believe this doc saved my dad's life.... His specialty is Colon & Rectal Surgery, but he also does General Surgery.
