I cant believe my little guy is here. All I wanted was a growth sono. I was scheduled to go to the hospital on Saturday at 2pm for a growth sono. They found that my amniotic fluid was very low and they were admitting me to see if they could get my levels higher. They also wanted to see if they could get my cervix ripened because their were no signs of a baby coming anytime soon but the worry was the fluids. if the fluids remained low then they would continue with inducing me. if my levels went up then they would stop and send me home. Sunday morning when they did another sono my levels were still incredably low and the doctor said i had to be induced. So they started me on pitocin. All I could do was just wait. They kept checking me and checking me and then all of a sudden holy macarol the contractions. They were coming strong and close together. I was not dialating though. I remained at 1 cm for a very long time. The contractions were coming 2 - 3 minutes apart. The doctor had to give me the epidural and oxygen because the contractions were causing fetal distress. Everything was happening so quickly. Once the epi kicked in everything was like heaven. we had to wait to see if i was getting any more dialated. nothing. not even 1 cm. At around 4:45 my water broke. So now we had my water broke, intense contractions, no dialation and then i started spiking a temp. I was almost at 101. The doctor was going to try to see if they could break the fever. At around 7 the fever was still there I was told i had no I had to have a c-section.
They had one emergency c-section going in at 8 and I would follow her. They rolled me into prep at about 8:45 and at 9:39pm my little guy came into the world.
We got home Wednesday and Alex is doing wonderful. DH and I are just so blessed and absolutely in love with him. I just stare at him when he's sleeping. He looks like a little angel. He has dimples and my DH tells me it's my fault because I kept poking at him 
I feel great and the c-section recovery has been good. I feel really good, a little achy at times but overall physically I feel great and I truely look forward to when I can sleep on my stomach

Thanks.
I forgot he was also moving backwards. Instead of moving down towards the birth canal he was shimming his way back towards my ribs. The doctor got a little laugh at that.
