MTHFR Gene Factor..
I just found out that this could be a reason for my 3 m/c's. Most women are usually heterozygous (sp?) which means you have one copy of the gene. Well, I am homozygous which means I have 2 copies. When you have this you have an increased risk for miscarriage, increased risk for vascular disease and blood cloting. I am being treated right now with just a baby aspirin so hopefully the clotting was an issue and this will help to thin my blood. I finally feel somewhat better to now have some kind of an answer. I still have to have the hysterosalpingogram so I will wait to see those results.

Re: MTHFR Gene Factor..
I have the same issue ( and miscarried 3 times as well) I am taking px folgard, prenatal vit, and baby asprin. It's only been about two weeks since I was diagnosed, so I have to wait and see if the asprin makes a difference. I agree, it's good to have some sort of an anwer on why you miscarry, I wish you all the best!
