Any great restaurants near or in Wading river?
Hi, I am not familiar with the area--can anyone recommend a great restaurant out there?? TIA!!!

There is Desmonds in the "inn at wading river/eastwind"
the cooperage inn in Baiting Hollow is really close & good
If you want casual, cheap & good JRs steak house in Calverton or Phil's in wading river
La Plage in wading river is also really good

it recently closed down! i had a gc there and never used it  
i agree w/the first respnse--phils, east wind, cooperidge....a little further is another rest...the name just slipped --darn....i will post when i think of it....

we are actually going to the Inn at East Wind spa-what towns surround Wading River-I did hear La Plage was good!!!

DH's family LOVES Blackwell's...it's literally right before East Wind. Supposedly phenomenal steak (I don't eat steak, so I've never been there  )...it's $$$, but so worth it.
We LOVE Cooperage. The food is always delicious, and it's so quaint in there! It's only a few miles past East Wind, in Baiting Hollow. They have a website...google Cooperage Inn.

towns around area....mt. sinai, rock pt., riverhead, shoreham, baiting hollow, port jeff
