Birthday ?
Do you have 2 seperate cakes or just one? The boys birthday is Friday and I am trying to decide if I should get one cake and sing twice or should they have their own cake..
I have been brain dead lately and cant make any decisions..

I just ordered our cake today (just 1) for my twins 2nd bday next week. It was hard to pick bc everything is either girly or boyish so we had to go w/ Nemo which they both agreed on. I think after this year we'll get separate cakes.

i have done and will always do 2 cakes... its not there fault that there both born on the same day.. i celebrate there birthdays together but seperate.. KWIM??
but thats me... nothing i do is the exact same because to me they are 2 different people (children)

I did one cake for the first, because I just wanted one big 1 - well that got screwed that up but that's another story.  This year though, we are doing two separate cakes and will from now on.

My sister and I had the same birthday (3 yrs apart) and we always had seperate cakes and everyone always sang twice. I figured since it is their first and they can not blow out candles I would do just one cake and sing twice but I feel like that is so cheesy.
I guess I will order 2 cakes for them...

we had 2 different cakes. besides wanting them to have individual cakes, i also figured it would also satisfy all the guests by having two different cake options.

last year we ordered one cake and then ordered their own big cupcake. I wanted to do the same for this year.

we are doing 1 cake again this year. they will be 2 next week as well, a day after Pinky's little ones. I think Im doing a Blues Clues cake, they are very into that show now.
When they get a bit older, I will do 2 separate cakes.

2 seperate cakes but we sing once. It gets a bit messed up when we get to the name part.
We had thier birthday at a place this year so they had one cake there, but then on their birthday they each got a train cake.
I also vowed to make thier cakes each year.
