need ideas for K students
I need to come up with several projects that teach weaving to K and 1 grade. I have a foam placemat I can make, and maybe a name bracelet with hemp or silk cording. I would love to find maybe 3 or 4 more projects. Any ideas you can share? Thanks very much. Mary

Re: need ideas for K students
i do placemats: cut thin strips of one color paper, then cut a second color almost to the end (so the large sheet is attached at one end, and hanging down). They can weave the second color through, then glue stick at the end of each row/column. Then I usually go around and glue a border to seal it off and laminate. A friend does the same, but makes the still connected piece in the shape of a heart.
