Flying while pregnant

what are the most dangerous months?? and why?? what if u dont know your pregnant?

the Later months are when you are banned from the plane. I think after 32 weeks they dont let you on. Flying before then is ok (with docs permission of course) but make sure you move around a lot.

Yes - first trimester is ok to fly.

I have a friend whose DH is an airline pilot - she flew up to the end of her 2nd trimester. She also went through 2 years of infertility treatments - so I would doubt she'd chance a miscarriage after months & months of BD science experiments.

restrictions vary with airlines. We've planned a trip to London next month, so I just looked into this.

From American's site:
What are the guidelines for traveling on American while pregnant?
A: A medical certificate is required if travel is within 4 weeks of the delivery date in a normal, uncomplicated pregnancy

For domestic flights under 5 hours, travel is not permitted within 7 days before and after the delivery date. If you should need to travel within 7 days before or after delivery, a medical certificate is required as well as clearance from our Special Assistance Coordinator.

For International travel or any flights over the water, travel is not advised within 30 days of the due date, unless the passenger is examined by an obstetrician within 48 hours of outbound departure and certified in writing as medically stable for flight. Travel within 10 days of the due date for International travel must have clearance from our Special Assistance Coordinators. Travel within 7 days after delivery requires clearance as well.

I'm going to Miami this weekend. I am 30 weeks. My doctor told me anytime before the 8th or 9th month is fine.

I flew before I knew I was pregant -was in the 2 week wait, and then 2 other time - once to California in my first trimester - all is fine - just drink lots of water (get an aisle seat) and get up and walk some.

I forgot to mention, I got PG either right before or during our trip to Aruba, so I flew VERY early on also...

I flew up to my 33rd week. We were living in Europe and doing a lot of travelling. Trying to take advantage and see as much as we could. I flew back to the States 2x and I probably flew at least 15x while pg. Alex was just fine. As long as you are not high risk flying is ok. But like KPtoys said make sure you move around a lot and drink lots of water.
