Bombed my principal walk-in today!
Of course!
My principal decides to check-in and stop by my room in the late afternoon when I am mentally and physically drained.
AND- of course it's one of the few times I don't have my objective/aim on the board and didnt have a good closure!!!
Well at least I'm tenured but it still sucks to have your boss catch you at your worst when you know you can do better

I'm sure the principal was probably wondering how you are managing the class you got given they fired the teacher half your kids had last year for bad classroom management.

It seems like my old principal would always catch me doing the wrong thing or at the wrong time. They never walk in when your lesson is great!

ughh I know what you mean!
This is what always happens to me.. the days I have a great lesson no one comes to see it.. the day I'm exhausted & feeling like crap is the day they come to observe... sooo annoying

I was on shutterfly the other day when my superintendent walked in if it makes you feel any better. There were no kids in the room though thankfully.

Well she never approached me or said anything somaybe she'll let it slip but another colleague said her objectives werent up either so we decided to put the entire day's lesson obj. up on the board from now on so she cant catch us if we forget.
Anyway- weekend's here so no more thinking about school!
Thanks for all teh support though- it truly made me feel better!
