Rome restaurant reccomendations?
I love the little hole-in-a-wall-undiscovered restaurant type, not the fancy, schmancy over priced, hyped up type.
Anyone have any?

La Rampa near the Spanish Steps is wonderful!!!
I'm know I have several more reco's, but it's been 4 years. I will look for them and update this if I find them. Is it only Rome?

I searched for my Italy info, but could only find notes on Florence...but I did save our receipt from Colline Emiliane. It's located near Piazza Barberini, near Via Veneto. The address is Via degli Avignonesi, 22.
I will tell you that we never ate a bad meal in Rome!
Enjoy your trip--SO jealous!!!

There is a great cafe near the coliseaum, i found it in the Rick Steves Rome book, the service was so friendly they gave us a complimentary cocktail and the food was so yum!!!!

I don't know the names but we loved just walking and finding quaint looking places to eat...there are so many choices! I am so jealous you are going!
