What about the Charlain Harris Southern Vampire series?? I haven't started it yet, but I plan to in the winter

You could read her other book - The Host. Its an adult book. I'm almost finished with it, and I liked it.

I had to reread the series. I'm on the last book again. After reading them for the second time I think it will be easier to read a new book.
