Shea Goodbye
the closing ceremony was amazing... i loved to see all the old timers there... it gave me chills 
Mike Piazza & Tom Seaver just stole the show though... man i miss Mike like crazy

it was great... DH kept teasing me because he is a Yankee fan and how much better their good-bye was. I was sad that Davey Johnson wasn't there and my favorites from the early 90's Gregg Jeffries and Todd Hundley.
I got a little misty-eyed when all the guys from '86 came out, although Lenny Dykstra looks terrible... too much booze and drugs! and when my boy John Franco came out-- he was just the best!
the Seaver-Piazza moment was great....

I got very teary eyed when Doc came out and when Piazza came out. I was soooooooo happy to see Doc there, he really deserved to be there. Piazza was the best. Seeing him still gives me the chills because he was so great and I really hope he goes into the Hall of Fame as a Met.
I was sad that Davey Johnson and Mookie Wilson wasn't there. Mookie was such a huge part in Mets history and so beloved, it felt strange not having him there. I was extremely surprised to see Dave Kingman & George Foster there. I guess that I just never thought they would be there.

I have to admit I liked the Shea Goodbye. I wasn't going to watch it cuz I was so upset but DH convinced me to watch it. He said they are saying goodbye to history and to forget about the bozos that blew the game and just watch a touching ceremony. And it was nice to see some great players come back, especially the 86 mets. I love Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez. They are doing a great job as sportscasters. I loved seeing my mikey boy...God I miss Piazza!

they still should have done the ceremony BEFORE the game.. i thought that was really dumb... i also think that if they did it beforehand..the Mets would be even MORE pumped up to play... they looked so dead out there.

I was drooling that man looked so hot
I miss him so much!!!! I told DH the day Piazza announced his retirement, I'm heading up to Cooperstown when he's inducted with little Shaylie. I don't know how I'm getting there since I don't drive, but come hell or high water, I'm going to be there!!!
