updated-Going back to work
I dont want to 
I just started a new P/T job a few weeks ago at the Hospital taking the newborn baby pictures. Of all JOBS! 
Its super flexible, good money and I need the money.
I took last week off and asked for this week too and hopefully my boss will say ok and I will go back next monday.
Im so scared emotionally how I will handle it 
ETA- I quit  I couldn't do it. Was feeling physically sick thinking about it. I feel like a failure. Dont feel better at all having made that decision.

Going back to work is never easy. Especially if people you worked with knew you were preggo.
But your job has to be especially emotionally gut renching. Take the time you need to heal emotionally. I hope you boss will let you off

Wow. That is a rough job.
My only advice is that you should think of DS and how lucky you know you are to have him. You don't know if any of those moms struggled the same way.

Thats what I have been keepign in my head. I was getting so excited two weeks ago seeing them all ( the babies) and it was getting me so happy and hopeful and now the feeling is so dreadful

Look at it this way - it will be your baby being photographed in the future. You know it will happen again. You have so many options ahead of you.
In the meantime, the $$ you will make at this job will help you get ready for that baby and give you the opportunity to do things for Noah that you otherwise wouldn't have been able to do.

Good news is my boss is awesome and said no problem, so now I just need to mentally get ready for Monday.
Normally I would just say forget this, its not worth it, but I need the money and I just pray this is worth it emotionally.
I feel myself getting very numb lately.

i know it must be so hard for you to go back to work... especially for what you will be doing...but like Gerty said.. you are taking pics of your future baby.. this it what you have to look forward to!
i was hard for all of us to go back to work .. i know the first week was the worst for me...but it got better with time... so i know that you will be ok!!

I had to go back to work as a head teacher in a daycare center. My kids were 15-24 months, but I was right next door to the infant room. It was rough.

Going back tommorow.
I have been so sick all day ( all weekend really) thinking about it. Im so scared and filled with anxiety. I'm afraid I'm gonna have a panic attack when I get there.
I keep thinking people must work around babies who have M/C's and I'm not the first, but Its breaking my heart to think about doing this and seeing all the babies tommorow.

Don't be so hard on yourself. You can only take so much- being in that position would have been a constant reminder of what happened. That's not what you need as you are trying to move on.

Thank you guys. Thankfully it was p/t and wasnt like I was used to having that $$ or anything, it was just so hard to "give up" so to speak and I was just emtionally a mess over it. My boss was SOOOO understanding, that it made it easier.
I had to think future wise if I tried to have another baby and it happened again or was difficult, could I deal with this on a daily basis.
I think I made the right decision. Thanks for the words of support!

I work for a baby magazine....so I feel your pain.
I would never quit my job though; that would never even occur to me; i love it....and I need to pay the mortgage!
If you have the $ to quit your job, then whatever makes you feel better.....I'm sure you will find a different photography job quickly.

It was a p/t job for Extra money. Im basically a SAHM to my son..so It was only like 10 hours a week. I just got the job the day I found out I was PG actually...
