Do you ever get hunger "pains"?

Sometimes I can barely eat anything (which I know isn't good) and it doesnt bother me. One some days where I eat a good breakfast or lunch, it seems like I "crash" and get horrible hunger pains...my stomach hurts, I get hot flashes, just dont feel like myself. I have asked my dr. about this especially b/c diabetes runs in my family but they dont seem concerned. Does anyone else ever get like this?

This used to happen to me before I paid attention to my diet. Perhaps you are allergic to something that you are eating? Are you eating oily foods? For me it was beef. I didn't know this but my body does not process beef well.

I suggest you try to pay attention to what you are eating when this happens to you and what you ate before it happened.

I am on WW so I have been trying to eat healthier...but now thinking back to what I am eating daily, I dont know that I am eating enough calories.

For example for lunch the other day I ate a Dannon Light & Fit yogurt which may have 150 calories, a pear...I'm thinking 50 calories and a pack of 100 calorie snacks. That is only 300 calories and 4 or 5 hours later I was famished and feeling sick. I think I may need to make sure I always eat a snack or soemthing small inbetween lunch and dinner to keep from crashing!

It may be what you are eating like Steph said. That does not sounds like enough at all for lunch I am sorry to say. Are you eating within your daily points? Are you eating your flex points?

I eat about 6 small meals/snacks a day. I need to eat every few hours for me to feel okay. Maybe you can try breaking up your points throughout the day so they are more equally divided.

I very seldom use my flex points...maybe a few points here and there but i dont use them all weekly. I also try not to eat anything after 7.

Maybe I am being too strict with myself.

Oh geez. I use all of my flex points every single week! Everyone is different though and you may not need them all.

If you think you are being too strict - especially to the point that you are feeling sick and crashing - you will never last. Give yourself the chance to do a program that you can live with. Be smart about it, if you think you're not eating enough you're probably not. Good luck Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
