Italy in less than 10 days?
Can this be done in less than 10 days? I am trying to plan something for next year as a surprise for DH for our 30th bdays. I have about 10 days off next April...will this be too rushed? Do you really need 2 weeks?

Re: Italy in less than 10 days?
i did it in 11 and had a blast...
You just can't go into it thinking you are going to see everything under the sun there...Not even 2 weeks would be able to cover it IMO.
Pick out a handful of places that are a MUST SEE to you and go for it.
We went to Venice, Florence, Rome and Capri (imo these are cities that are a MUST for first timers) we stopped in a few cities along the way and we had plenty of time!
IMO it is just all about the selecting and planning

i agree. you can do it and will have a great time but you wont see everything. i went for a week and stayed in one region (tuscany and then the riviera) and missed out on a lot but still had a blast.
