Orthopedist/Hand Specialist
Can anyone recommend one for my husband? We are in Western Suffolk, so we really are willing to travel anywhere. Thanks so much!

Definitely Dr. Rogachevsky (not positive how to spell it).... He is awesome! I work at a hospital as a physical therapist and all of his patients love him

Dr. Mirza is Smithtown, is a hand specialist and pretty well known from what I hear.

Dr Ellstein at the Hand center in Huntington. He has done several surgeries on my dad's hand, all very successful

This is who I wanted to use....I called his office and they told me that he moved out of state. My mom went to him, had 2 surgeries, and LOVED him!
The dr that they have at that office now is not on insurance. They said that they could put my husband in under the other dr, but if he needs surgery before the insurance goes through, they can't do that. I dont know what to do.

Dr Lawrence Hurst in Stony Brook - he has done a number(5 or 6 ) surgeries on my daughters hands since she was almost 3. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Yep he has done surgery on my mom, myself and my DH. Lovely guy, gifted surgeon!
