This is something that I have always wanted to make - and I would like to try this year!

Mine is super easy and SO good.

5 cups of sliced, peeled apples
3 tsp. melted butter
3/4 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons flour
2 pillsubury refridgerated roll-out pie crusts

1. Preheat oven to 425. Roll out 1 pie crust and place in ungreased 9-in pie dish. Bake according to package. Cool slightly for several minutes.
2. In large bowl, mix all ingrediants except apples and lemon juice. Slowly stir in apples and add lemon juice. Mix well.
3. Pour apple mixture into baked pie crust. Top the pie with the other (unbaked) pie crust. Cut slits into top of pie and bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until crust is a light golden brown.

** after 15 minutes of baking, you'll want to put tin foil around the edges of the pie to prevent from burning.
