Sooo discouraged
My students started out this week VERY poorly. It's taking them a while to adjust to the class rules, etc. from having all those school breaks!
Today my kids were arguing at their tables so I moved some seats around and 2 of my kids started crying because they didn't like their new tables. I felt bad because I REALLY like these 2 kids!! Well,when I asked one of them where he thinks he could learn best (meaning, which table), he said he wanted to go to a different class.  It's my first year teaching and I'm sensitive... so I feel SO bad that he said that. I know I shouldn't let it get to me, but it's just one of those weeks..

im so sorry youre having a hard week... i agree, the kids are off a little after having some time off.
im sure they will bounce right back from their desk change and love you again
