Federal Employees
How do you feel about the 3.9% increase plus locality pay?
I am grateful for any increase PLUS we are getting Saturday overtime back so that is another good thing!
Also, SS beneficiaries are getting a 5.8% increase!

Given the state of the economy, I am a little suprised it went through.

me too! and I know a lot of people who are not happy because we got a lower amount than the beneficiaries.

but if I am hop on my soap box...PLEASE, if you can, donate to the CFC. I am the key person in my office.
if you took just .5% of our increase and gave it to someone in need, it would do a world of good.
even if you alreayd are philanthropic in your personal life, you can do a minimun $2 per pay period donation to a new and worthy charity.

LOL I should have known you were the CFC person. We got our video confiscated because of the Hatch Act. Can you believe it?
And just to give an entirely selfish view on the CFC. I always donated to every single organization that mailed me. But I am lazy and never kept track and never reported it when doing my taxes. Now, I just donate through the CFC and it is so convenient when it comes to tax time!

why on earth would they do that! ?though the emails we've been getting from Main Justice have been a bit scary

Okay first they said the intro with our CURRENT president was too controversial so they had to fast forward it
Then some of us got to watch it before the took away the WHOLE video because they felt it was too close to what is going on with the campaign ( the debate format and all that )
