Re: Chocolate covered strawberries?

The easy way is buy he microwavable container of chocolate for fruit (usually found in the fruit aisle)
And dip them then let cool on wax paper!!!
Thats what I do most of the time!

I make a makeshift double boiler. Take a medium sized pot and boil a little bit of water in it. Take a glass bowl and add some chocolate into it, I prefer the little circles of chocolate they sell at michaels/ac moore, they melt much better than chocolate chips. Shut off the heat and mix the chocolate until it is fully melted. Holding the strawberries from the top, dip them into the melted chocolate and put them on a cookie sheet covered in wax paper to harden. Put the tray in the fridge.

This is what I do as well.
Just a tip- when you wash the strawberries make sure you dry them VERY well--- water will ruin the chocolate if it gets into the pot! Chat Icon Chat Icon

My mom always did the double boiler thing but I made strawberries for DH on valentines day and didnt want to make a ton, and the microwavable chocolate thing was pretty cheap. I tried it and it came out amazing!
