Best way to Giants Stadium?

any parking tips?

We're going to our first ever regular season Giants game tomorrow. We've gone there for pre-season games a few years back (ok - like 5 years ago), and the traffic and parking were totally fine. I'm sure it's different for regular season.

Any tips would be appreciated!

We went to a preseason game last year. Due to construction, parking is HORRIBLE. Unless you have a prepaid parking pass, you'll be parking in a remote lot (office buildings over by the Medieval Times) and then will be put on a school bus which will drop you off at the very end of the parking lot and you need to walk thru the parking lot to the stadium.

You'd think with all the trouble they've made, the school bus could at least drop you off closer to the stadium.

Get there EARLY, and if you don't want to wait an hour for a bus back, prepare to leave early or hang around in the stadium after the game.

Also, there is no tailgating in the remote lots, and I think the price is still the same as the main lot. If you can find a parking pass on ebay at a reasonable price, buy it.

thank you... this is gonna be a nightmare, isn't it.

No reasonable parking on ebay - all seem to be $100 or so.

if you are in the satellite parking area give yourself plenty of time to get to the stadium...we did satellite one day and it took 1/2 hour to get to the stadium due to traffic.....there is also no tailgating in those lots although people did have chairs and brought sandwiches...no grilling.....it costs 25 to park there if i remember correctly.....too bad u couldn't get ebay parking passes for 50-60 bucks b/c it would be totally worth it!....the lines to get back onto the bus at the end of the game felt like great adv. ride lines! hth!

we usually take the lie to the midtown tunnel, cut across the city to the lincoln, u will then see signs to the stadium....it's very easy......when u get near the stadium look for the bright orange signs that say no permit parking....follow those signs...someitmes they r hard to see....

Yeah - that was the other thing. There were no traffic signs to explain where non-permit parking was. We were just following people we thought that might be going to the game, and we eventually found it.

I'm hoping they've put better signs up by now, though.
