still have sono pics?

Did anyone else keep the sono pics before the m/c..I have 4 of them..I can't bring myself to throw them away. I have them in an envelope in a jewelry box..is that bad?

I don't think that's bad. I've still got all of mine. I couldn't bear to throw them out- it's all I've got.

they had been hangin on our fridge. I told DH to take them off and do something with them....I have no idea what he did with them and I'm not ready to ask.

I still have mine, and I have no intention of ever getting rid of them!

Mine are in an envelope in my jewlery box too.

I will be putting them in another memory box I have with my Daughters footprints and her sonos and the sonos from my other M/C as well. I cannot bear to throw them out.

When it first happened I mentioned to my mom that I wasn't sure what I should do with them. My mom, who also lost a baby, told me not to throw them away - that I'd want to see them again at some point. I actually had scanned one on to my computer in order to email it to family and it's still on here. I look at it every once in a while.

I still have my sono pic from our first appointment. I will not be throwing it away. It's in a keepsake book that I started when I found out I was pregnant. The book and sono pic is in a closet put away.

It was on my fridge, DH said sadly"I guess we dont need this anymore" and went to throw it out.

I freaked!!!
I never seen him so scared.
I couldnt throw it out.

It's in a drawer with all my other pregnancy stuff - pregnancy books people gave me and stuff.


I know it's there, but I haven't looked at it since.

Thanks! I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

I was so upset that day I came home from the RE, I threw out all the books, the What to Expect book and the name books I had..but when I looked at the sono's I couldn't do it. It's like if I hang on to it, it was really real, I was really pregnant, even if it was just for 11 weeks.

I still have mine too...I buried it in a box of papers & keep it hidden, but I couldn't bear to part with it either. I feel the same way...like if I hang on to it, it was really real...it's proof that I was really pregnant

My situation was/is a little different. I knew after my 2nd beta after my IVF, I was going to miscarry. The only picture I had at that point was the picture of the embryo's they put back at my transfer. I kept them up for a while, but when we started our 2nd cycle, I put it away. I didn't throw it out, but just put it away in the folder I keep everything related to my fertlity treatments.

This time around, I was pregnant with twins, I can't bring myself to look at the sono's from when there were two babies there. My husband finds comfort in them, but I can't look at them. I want to put all our sono's at the start of my baby book, but want to leave those sono's out, too painful to look at. DH thinks they should go in the book.

I have a slightly different situation.
Like Donna, we lost Rogan at five months....so we have a Memory Box with his pictures, hat, sono pics, etc. that we keep.

Mine were on my fridge. After my m/c i took them down. I have them in a desk.

i did not save mine...

i remember when we got home from the hospital i was going through my purse and saw the sono pics... i was looking at them sobbing DH then took them out of my hand and got rid of them... i regret him throwing them away now..but i think it was for the best...

I saved the one that Ihad for over a year and finally let it go....
