Changing rooms vent

I was told today I am changing rooms with my class. I had to move stuff today and will continue to move stuff tomorrow.

Its frustrating because I finally had everything set up and ready to go, I'm super-organized its actually neurotic. All that hard work put up in one room ahs to be re-done...sigh.

While I am grateful I am inheriting more space, I just cant stand tedious work. Plus learning has to be halted for at least most of the day, and I get to enlist some of my students to be my room decorator helpers while the others watch a movie.

Oh and its not just changing rooms, its moving floors too.



ETA but atleast one parent today praised how my room had looked before i took everything down. They said My room was very bright and inviting and that they were impressed

Ugh...that would annoy me so much. They were doing construction on my room last year that kept getting pushed back and back. A week and a half before my wedding they told me they'd be doing it and I had to vacate the room. I almost flipped out. Luckily, it got pushed back again and they did it over the summer. It's such an inconvenience!

I understand what you mean completely

just think, more room, new beginning and it'll be another chance to review rituals and routines with the kids :)
