Just bought a manual treadmill
Don't laugh...I need something for when I just DON'T want to go outside. I hope it's good enough for some light running, like 20 minutes at my snail's pace.

Manual?? That sounds like its going to be really hard - you actually have to get the belts moving right?

I have a manual and it is really really hard to keep it moving while trying to run. Half of your energy is being used trying to keep it moving. Don't be surprised if you get tired easier.

I do expect that. And in some secret way, I'm hoping that it will help me build some endurance that way. And if not, hopefully it will be good for just walking when I can't get outside.

That's awesome!!! Good luck - it will be hard but I think making it harder will help!

Okay, it came. It's so funny because I am actually tired! Running is hard because you really have to keep it going or you just stop. Wish me luck!

It was about $130 and took about 5 days to get. I know I could have bought a 'real' treadmill for a few bucks more, but I wouldn't be able to put it anywhere. We'll see how this goes1
