Anyone buy their kids small holiday gifts?

I was thinking of using my scholastic bonus points and buyimg them $1.00 books.


Any other ideas?

i go to the dollar store and buy erasers and pencils and puzz;e books too

I use bonus points to buy the $1 books, too, then add a pencil and book mark that I can get at the dollar store for cheap (buy multi packs of holiday pencils) and bookmarks at Lakeshore.

As for gifts, I collect about $2 per kid and we make two projects from Oriental Trading. I do 2 gifts because sometimes their parents are divorced or they'll make one for m&d and then another for g-parents.

I try to look for shipping codes with oriental OR I'll make a purchase with another teacher to split shipping costs.
