Past/Present IVFers - what did you do after ET?

I'm just asking because I've been reading all different things about how long to stay in bed, etc.

Right now the acupuncturist can treat me at the dr's office before ET but after I'd have go to her office and DH is against that.... He wants me to go straight home and rest!

If you don't mind sharing please let me know what you did or plan to do -
how long did you stay in bed/on the couch? 24 hours? 48 hours? 72 hours? when is safe enough to not worry about me embie falling out

I was told to lay down afterwards and no heavy lifting, bending, vacuming, etc. till the big test.
a friend of mine was told to stay off her feet for 2 days.
I guess every dr is different.

WHen i did mine, i was told to bascially rest the rest of the day. Don't lift anything. My sister in law had ivf done a while ago and was told to stay in bed for two day. Every place is different.
Bascially i would take it easy that day. I had my acupuncture done before and after the transfer. I think it would be good to have it done after also, if you could.

I always go to acu after tx. Otherwise I would always think "what if"...

Go home and rest, and then take it easy for the next few days.

I was told to take it easy for the rest of the day.
I had class that night so I cancelled and didnt go.
My acupuncturist wanted me to take the next day off, but I didnt.

I was told bed rest was not necessary...just no heavy lifting. I came home that day and lounged around but was up and about the whole day. I also went to work the next day.
