I - I am a compliance officer for a firm in Long Island. Decent pay close to home three days a week travel two days a week which I get reimbursed for. I just got a job offer-3k more, financial company as well, far enough of a drive that traffic will become a pain and gas when it goes up will be a consideration. ITs not compliance its operations. Here is my dilema-I have been hearing rumors that there are going to be layoffs at my job, my position particulary. I am leaning towards taking the job because my salary greatly contributes to our life as I am sure most of you do. I know that with whats going on there are no guarantees but I am so scared of losing my job I am unsure which way to go. Anyone have a psychic I can use? lol
