Any over 35 TTCers?
I'll be 35 next month and we probably won't TTC until the beginning of 2007, when I am close to 36. Just wondering who else is out there.

oooooh cool! I made the mistake of buying a book called "Pregnancy after 35" or something like that and it scared the &*(& out of me. Glad to see there are at least 2 others here.

I'm kind of in this boat - I will be over 35 when we TTC #2...
Just to give you a little good news about TTC over 35, my good friend had her first at 40 and her second at 41.
She also was really fortunate and got PG on the first month of trying with both of them and that was withOUT any fertility meds! Her pregnancies were both text book perfect and so were both labors (I cannot begin to tell you how envious I was of her LOL)
My other friend is TTC now at 38...
ANother is PG with her first at 37...
Another is PG with TWINS at 37...
Good luck when you start TTC!!!!! My baby needs a playmate next door!
One thing you could do is discuss it with your OBGYN and start having some basic tests done (mainly blood work) to rule out any potential problems. If you have any questions just ask!

I am 35!! I had previously put TTC on the back burner for about 8 mos. But now, I am ready!!
But, you should most definetly get blood work done. Do not wait til the last minute!!!! I am just learning now that i have some issues.

I am 35 too, will be 36 in June... we half heartedly started TTC in November and then have stopped for a few months because of things we have to do in nine months and hope to start again in April.
I know I'm getting old and I want to have a baby but some days I think, I'm not old enough to be a mother!!!!!
