Gym question for Suffolk ladies?
What gym do you go to? I am looking into Planet Fitness, Koga, or Finest Fitness. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I went to Koga for classes. it was ok BUT the classes were way too crowded. they didnt put a cap on the number of people in class and I didnt like that.
My DH and I belong to Body SMart Fitness on Vets highway in Holbrook. they do not have classes but the gym is fantastic. never crowded and you can use the machines without having to wait..usually

I go to planet fitness and I absolutely love it there. There are a ton of machines and there is never a wait. The place is spotless too. Only thing is they don't have group fitness classes if that is what you are looking for.

I go to Ballys in Lake Grove. I have a membership from forever-ago and its only $99 for the entire year. They recently got a lot of new machines, which is nice. The classes are good.
I looked into LA Fitness in Lake Grove - but it was very expensive, I couldnt bring myself to pay for it when I spend so little on Ballys.
A lot of people rave about Planet Fitness.

Thanks...they are high on my list because they're inexpensive and seem to have what I need. I don't know if I mind not having classes--not like I take them usually, but its nice to have the option. I think this is the top choice, tho its a tad far (I am in Middle Island).

I will look into Bally's but I always get so confused about their pricing. I know what you mean about LA Fitness...$150 startup and first and last months dues

Im a member of planet fitness..I like it..I'm not in love with it though like some other gyms i've been to..I only pay 10 dollars a month..so its definately worth it

I go to Bally's in Lake Grove as well. I love that they are open till midnight. I have had my memebership forever and only pay $49 a year
