Sewing a hem without actually sewing ?!

I had to pull out the hem on my curtains to make them longer & now I have a tattered edge in need of a new hem !

I was searching around & found out there are different types of tapes that I can use by just ironing the sides together.

The curtains are machine washable so I'm curious if this will a) work & b) make it through a washing ?!?

Any experience with these ?!?! Which would you recommend ?!?

TIA !

I used to use Stitch Witchery on my school skirt hems - I recall that they held up well through washings and wearings.
