i miss mine also its been almost 13 years without her. I put up my christmas tree today and i started to cry really bad. It was her favorite time of year and it still hurts so much when i hang the ornament with her name on my tree. Fm me anytime. i know what your going thru.

i'm kind of dreading putting up the tree because my dad let me have most of mom's favorite ornaments and i cry each time i see them. she loved to decorate the tree.

I miss my Dad also. He passed away so close to the holidays.

Thanks everyone My mom was given 3 months to live right after thanksgiving 2002 and died Jan 23 2003....So i cant help but always think about that last christmas together when we all knew it was our last

we had thanksgivng at my IL's house. My DH an his sister wanted to do it because their mom loved this holiday. We did okay. The would is only 2 weeks old but I think his mom would have been proud how everyone worked together.
