Plaxico Buress shoots himself!
What an AZZ! I don't understand why people feel the need to actually walk around carrying guns. I can see having one in your home or whatever, but to keep one in your pocket? Why is that necessary? Obviously, he didn't even take the necessary precautions, or it wouldn't have went off. At least he didn't harm anyone else

According to news accounts, he was drinking, too.
Unfortunately, I don't think this will ruin his professional football career forever, unless his injury is that severe... Watching him on the news this morning (NOT limping), I'd say he'll find his way back into pro ball.

I could just picture him showing off the gun and then shoving it in the front of his pants - trying to be all GANGSTA and blammo...whoopsy daisy!
i do agree - it won't hurt his career, unfortunately (and while i don't agree, it's true). The Raiders tend to take the 'thugs' of the league....so my money is on them taking him.
dave CLAIMS the Steelers let him go because of his 'tendencies' - but there's no way to know that...unless they came out and said it...
