So I'm back!!
it's been 1 month since the marathon and I have been in NYC for a week of it and in Israel as well for a over week. I have run about 4-5 miles about 3 days a week since but definitely not anything like what my body is used to.
So since eating my heart out in Israel and feeling like a blob, I got back on the horse on Sunday and let me tell you 1 month made such a difference where I don't have much strength or edurance. Now I am suffering a little jet lag but my 5 mile run was really tough on the mill using intervals and spin class today was brutal. I have also started my resistance trainng again and my body is sore all over....from my shoulders to ankles!
I feel good to be getting back at it but I can't believe how quickly you lose what you worked so hard for.
So up next for me...ING Atlanta 1/2 marathon at the end of March and a big maybe for the San Diego marathon in May. My definite marathon is Chicago in October...I'm trying to beat 4 hours!!
So I'm getting back into my regimine, back to hiking and long runs on the weekends, and trying Crossfit for a month once I feel a little stronger!

You will love Crossfit, let me know once you start. I've never been in better shape.
Good luck with everything! I am so impressed with anyone who can run a marathon.
