S E X after a D&C

I had my D&C 1week ago today and eventhough i['m not ready to bd yet.................I am starting to get urges It has been awhile. Soooooooooooooooooo how long after a D&C before we can be "together" I think some lovin might help my fould, depressed, lonely moods I have been in.

i felt the same exact way when i had a d&c but was told not to till after the docs appt

My Doctor said 2 weeks.

I'm surprised that so many girls feel like that after the D&C. It took me awhile to heal (I bled for over 3 weeks) and I didn't want DH to touch me with a ten foot pole afterwards!

i was told to wait 3 weeks, and I had to have a follow up with both the place that performed the d&E and my OB.

Oh lord... the doc said 2 weeks but I was so charged, we were doing it like bunnies 4 days afterwards. It's something about the drop in estrogen that causes the jump in libido.

1st time told 2 weeks.
2nd time I was told to wait 3 weeks. I waited 2.
I was done bleeding within a few days of the D&C.

I agree with lizzy. I was supercharged for a few months actually. It was very strange. It was like I was a different person.

dr told me to wait 2-3 weeks. we waited until 2 weeks bc i bled for 2 weeks afdter d&c and wanted to be completly healed.

The thought of the act itself is not what i'm after in fact it scares the crapola out of me, but being with my husband is the comfort I need. I can't explain it. I need to feel like an us again instead of a me grieving and a him greiving. I need that physical and emotional attachment.

I understand what you mean. It's such a hard thing for a couple to go through.
