Net Flix

anyone use it?
Is it worth it?

We rent about 3-4 movies a month..so it equals out to the same prices really... and we could get more..

Question about shipping..when you click a movie..how long till you get it? And what happens next? When the ones returned by you, they send a new one?

Im wondering what the time frames in mailing and receiving is.

TIA!

If you watch movies, its worth it. It takes about 2 days to get a movie. Once you send one back, they send you the next one out of your queue.

Re: Net Flix

I used to use netflix- we cancelled it because we found we were sitting on movies for months, it just wasn't worth it for us.

It is a good service though, turn around time was usually 3-4 days.

We usually always had a movie, so it wasn't a big deal to wait while you mailed it back and waited for the new one.

We use the Blockbuster version of that -- we think it is worth it! Even if you rent 4 movies a month for @15.00 it is a deal, plus you get 2 free in store rentals a month. The incentive is to watch the movie and send it back right away, instead of sitting on it...that way, there are a lot of movies available to their customers and you get to see more for your money. It is cheaper than cable and you don't have to see the same cr@p over and over again...you rent what you want to watch...when you want to watch it.

Re: Net Flix

We did the trial and it was pretty good, I would say you get the DVDs in about three days and it takes about three days for them to get it back. You do get three at a time and if you send them back as you finish they mail another one out... If you rent movies a lot I would say go for it- although the Blockbuster Online was good too!!

We use Blockbuster too...DH uses the coupons for games and we do the movies through the mail.

Same here. I definately think it's worth it. The part I like about Blockbuster is you can set up a queue for the movies you want to see (you can put as many movies as you want in the queue) and then the movies just come to you in the order they're on your list then. If you change your mind about wanting to see something, or something new comes out that you want to see ahead of everything else, you can just delete things or change the number that it is sent to you in.

We were not watching them, and we would have them forever. We would mean to watch them but never get around to it.
