Ladies that had a m/c....
How long until you really felt like you agian? Besides the D&C and spinal recovery I have felt great but the last 2 days I lost my appatite and everything smells like fish. I feel queasy and my boobs hurt just a touch along with some cramping. I just feel so good one minute, crying the next over nothing, then high the next. Is this my body going back to normal?

Re: Ladies that had a m/c....
It's only been 2 weeks since my m/c and I don't feel myself at all! My chest is sore and I am cranky. I find myself getting down/negative and I am really trying not to be like that too much.

Re: Ladies that had a m/c....
Physically I was back to myself by the next day after D&C. I had thought I was 10.5 weeks but the baby stopped growing at 7.5 weeks so my hormones probably started dropping before I knew what was going on. I did have some hormonal fluctuations but we went away on vacation 2 weeks later so it seemed minor.
Do you have a fever? If you feel lousy and have no appetite I'd go see the Dr. That could be a sign of an infection.

Re: Ladies that had a m/c....
I felt better within a few days. My prego bloat & swollen/sore boobs were down within 3 days. I dont remember much hormonal fluctuations, but i'm sure it's very common.
Hope you feel better soon!
I agree you should call the doctor if you have no appetite & feel lousy.

Re: Ladies that had a m/c....
I didn't need a D&C, and my pregnancy symptoms went away within a week of the MC so physically I felt okay after the bleeding stopped-maybe 2 weeks later. The emotional part takes a lot longer to work through.
Sorry you are going through this

I did not have to have a D&C, but physically I felt ok after about a week emotionally well it's been almost two months and although it has gotten better i find myself crying about it often it's painful but we need to stay strong and hopefully it will get better

The thing is we started TTC again on the 3rd and this is how I felt when I was implanting last time.......I don't even want to get my hopes up that we could be, but could we be? If I don't feel better by Wed or Thurs i'll call the doc. No fever, just cold VERY cold all the time like before

I'll be honest, you being pregnany again crossed my mind. But I didnt want to mention it, in case it would upset you.
I think anything is possible. I got pregnant the 2nd cycle after my D&C. We weren't even trying.... you're very fertile afterwards.
So, you think you are 12dpo ? is that right ?

Here's the day by day break down I'mnot good at the timing...
M/C confirmed 11/21 @ 10w 2d via u/s unkn when the baby stopped growing but I know it was past 7w1d but no arms or legs had formed so I assume 8wks
D&C on 11/25
Started BD again on 12/3 and have been atleast 3 times a week since then....
My question is I don't know what my beta #'s are so I can't even take a HPT because it more then likely would be a false +....What should I do......I was thinking about waiting to see if AF shows this month and if not then get a test or POAS after the new year. My diet has not changed and I still take the prenatals so that's not a big deal and now I have stopped drinking just in case....What do you ladies suggest?

Re: Ladies that had a m/c....
hmmm... I'm definately no expert on betas & timing.
Since you haven't gotten your period since your M/C, it's hard to say when it "should" show up.
If I was you, I would probably take a HPT, if it registers positive call the doctor.
Or maybe skip the HPT and just call the doctor and see if they want you to come in ?

Re: Ladies that had a m/c....
****UPDATE****
So I called the doc because the only HCG I ever had done was in the ER on 11/21 and never again and I explained we were TTC again, while not as active, but still leaving the opportunity for it to happen so she said to come in for weekly draws until it starts to rise/double and we're pg again or it goes below 5.....I go in Thurs for the first draw so either way we'll know with in a week if they're going down or down. Thanks Ladies for the advice
