I've been reading the posts about training and noticed that you three took your puppies to training at Petsmart today.

How was it?
Did the trainer know what she was doing?
How are the prices?

I'm looking into taking my Rocky to the Petsmart in Levittown.

Hi!
Today went well. We went to the Levittown location too. But we really did not do too much with them though. She went over things we should be doing with them, such as cleaning ears, nail etc. Then she explained the different kinds of collars and which are good or bad. She taught us how to praise them. The only real training was them learning their name, which I think she already did know!
The trainer is really nice and answered any questions anyone had. She seemed to know her stuff. There were only 3 other puppies in the class besides ours, which was good. The class is in a seperate closed off little room, which Petco did not have, where we were originally going to go.
She gave us some homework to do with them and she said next week we will start on teaching the sit command and how to walk on a leash. It is a pretty basic class, which I need. They do have more advanced if your dog is beyond all this though.
I thought the pricing was good, $125 for 8 weeks, each class is an hour.

Yesterday's class was more informative and she was telling us what we should expect over the next coming weeks. We'll def. know more next week!

I need a special socialization class for little Molly. I told my dad how she was with Tyson and Lola. He goes "Molly wants to be a loser with no friends!"
