condensed milk vs. evaporated milk
are these two different things? I couldnt find condensed milk at the supermarket but i saw a thousand cans on evaporated milk so i bought that thinking maybe its the same thing
do i have to go to another supermarket? or can i replace the condensed milk with evaporated milk?

they are too different products.
they are usually both in the baking section

two completely different things, do not substitute one for the other! Condensed milk is a milk product where the water is removed and sugar is added, this is usually used in baking things that are (in my opinion) quite sticky and very sweet. Evaporated milk has a lot of the water removed, but no sugar added.
