Quick Question...
Some of you ladies responded to my posts last week about the renewal for DH's passort and that I included postage for them to send it express mail to us. If noone is home to sign it after the first attempt to mail, I know they leave a notice. Roughly how long would it be until the next attemp? is it weeks or a few days....I'm just asking cuz i'm worried the second attempt might be longer?
Can anyone help?

Re: Quick Question...
i think it's only a day or two after you tell them to redeliver that they come, but it's usually easier just to go to the post office and pick it up. at least in my experience...

Re: Quick Question...
I don't mind picking it up at the post office, but that happens if the noone is there to sign after the second attempt.
If noone is there to sign after the first attempt and the leave the note saying when the next attempt will be with the date and time then I will personally stay home if I have to...
they do leave the date and time of the next attempt right?

Re: Quick Question...
Ugggh! this is agony for me...i am a very nervous person who can't stand the wait and i've tried calling the national passport center and it is a complete joke! I always get the same message that they are experiencing a high volume of calls and to call back between 12-3 then when I do that I get the same message again....I am going to try calling at exactly 7 am tomorrow when they open...if they get the same message then it's bogus for sure, they just don't want to get on the phone...
