well.......i called jenny craig today and went tonight. i cannot beleive how much weight i have gained  i have been avoiding the scale at home for a very long time. didn't want to have a nervous breakdown. so, i took the plunge and joined today. i was on JC last summer and did very well on it, then due to financial problems, i dropped out. well, with 2009 right around the corner, i decided to seriously do something about my weight, since diabetes runs in my family.
is anyone else on JC?

the price is not that bad. i do not have that much money to work with, so i was very careful to only spend a certain amount on the food.
this time around, i bought 7 lunches and 7 dinners. i am doing the breakfast on my own. i have plenty of WW/JC friendly snacks at home that i will use up. plus, their snacks/desserts are rather expensive. 1 small bag of JC popcorn is $1.10, when i can buy a whole box in the stores for cheaper.
so,,,,for the 7 lunches and 7 dinners, 2 desserts and a box of vitamin bars...it all came to $92.00. plus, the cost of the program which is a one time fee, loose 20 lbs for $20. so total was $115. there food is pretty good. if you are on a budget, they will work with you like they did for me. i still love WW, i do think that is the best plan out there. but, i wanted to jumpstart with JC

i loved jenny and did so well on it. i would love to start it again but with a house and baby, it's just not possible now.
good luck! i saw they have some new foods.

i did it a few years ago and lost about 10lbs. only thing is you get tired of processed food after a while. good luck!!

the food is about $100 a week give or take.

Congrats on starting on the program. I worked for in the Industry and for Jenny Craig many years ago not to mention it is how I lost my weight 50lbs. The food is very good!!!
The best part about the program is it reteaches portion control and strategies for cravings and slip ups.
Although I have kept my weight off I see my body type changing and I am going back to the old strategies I once taught.
