I am totally TEAM EDWARD
but I just wanted to know from the TEAM JACOB people why you are TEAM JACOB?
dont you want edward and bella and renesmee together???werent you hoping that bella would be with edward forever??

I'm all about Edward, but I'd guess that people who are Team Jake fell for him in New Moon when he was helping pull Bella out of her depression (for lack of a better term).
They wouldn't have known about Nessie then. And they probably want her to have all the "normal" human experiences - much like Edward and Rosealie kept telling her they wanted her to experience also.

I'm only on book 3, and as of now, I'm on no "team". But, I can see why people would choose to be on Team Jake. I'm sorry, but Edward and Bella's relationship borders on abusive and I think that Bella almost fears Edward almost as much as she loves him. She's more herself with Jacob and I can see how people would prefer that over the "knight in shining armor" (or in this case "knight in shining Volvo") vibe that Edward gives off.

I think you hit the nail on the head for me!! I am done with all the books, and still go back and forth. But I think Jacob 'imprinting' on Nessie turn me away from him.

The whole idea of "imprinting" on children freaks me out a little.

Ok - Maybe I am reaching here. BUT the author is a Morman - that being said... The "imprinting" I was alittle put off by it.
Again, I may be reaching here..... With those cult Morman's or whatever you may call them, dating and marrying young girls. Do you get where I am coming from? Just a thought - anyone agree with me?
In the book when they first mention Quil imprinting on the little girl. Why does the author even go there? With Jacob impringting on Nessie, maybe I can understand that in that Nessie is growing and will b adult in 4 years. What are your feelings?

I was disturbed by the "imprinting" on children - it just isn't something I was comfortable with. However, I am torn between Jacob and Edward - there were many times where I was on the Team Jacob side.
I have to say that the best book in the series was Twilight. I didn't really like Breaking Dawn - it seemed forced to me.
