where do you store your coffee
after opening the bag or container? Do you keep it in the refrigerator or stored in the cabinet?

We store our beans in an air tight container on my counter.
Storing coffee in the fridge will dry it out quicker.

DH stores it in the fridge. My parents store it in a cabinet. The fridge is suppossed to keep it fresher longer.

I buy the large can of columbian from costco which we keep in the fridge and store a portion of it in an airtight canister on the counter.

The freezer is a good place to keep the coffee if it's in an airtight (and I mean airtight, triple wrapped container). beans or coffee should never be stored in the fridge. If you aren't using the coffee for 2 weeks store it in the freezer. Once water molecules get into the coffee it's ruined and won't taste the same. The temp of the fridge is not good for storing coffee and you open and close the fridge a lot raising the temp. More chance of ruining the flavor of coffee.
eta: if you freeze coffee or beans once and leave them out, don't re-freeze.
