Awwwwwwe I hear you! 
I am a very social person as well and every single weekend we are ALWAYS jam packed with "obstacles." I learned to figure out when I can let go a bit and when to pull back. It's all about learning how to manage it all. It's not that you can't enjoy food and drinks it's just that you have to know your limits. The all or nothing thing never worked for me.

I agreee, the more you limit yourself, the more you want! You have to splurge a little here and there, but dont go crazy and know your limits.
And get right back on track the next day.
