How am I going to get through this?

I just found out this morning that there is no heartbeat. I am 8 weeks. I will be going in for a D&C on Wednesday or Thursday. I am a mess and I dont know how to handle this.

I am so deeply sorry. I went through this a couple of months ago and know the heartbreak you feel right now.

I also had this horrible experience, and I am so sorry for you. Take your time to grieve and know you have lots of support here.

The only advice I can give is to take it one day at a time. You'll have good days and bad days. I know how hard it is.

just know that it is ok to cry whenever you need to, this is a heartbreaking thing to go through. I was also 8 weeks, feel free to FM me if you ever need to talk

like everyone else said, take the time to grieve. Even in the short time you were pregnant, I am sure you had it all figured out in your head...we all do/did. It was so real and then its gone. You need time, don't feel bad about that.

I am very sorry for your loss. It is not easy, allow yourself to go through the entire grieving process, you will be in shock, sad, angry, all of it. For me the anger lasted the longest, everyone is different.

People are going to say things to you, at the time, they may seem stupid and may anger you..."it was for the best", "you'll have another one", "It wasn't meant to be". When you're in this moment, none of it sounds good, it all sucks. Your patience will be low. Just know that they don't know what to say to you, they have no idea how to make you feel better, they just don't want you to be sad anymore andto have hope.

Know we are here for you.

i know right now you feel like you have hit rock bottom..
but the fact is.. right now you just need to grieve and do whatever you can to take your mind off... i always tried to keep busy.. it does take a while to heal emotionally, and everyone is different..
and we are all here to support you and help you get through this difficult time

Thank you all so very much for the kind words. We went to my OB/GYN for a confirmation that there was no heartbeat and I was more hysterical than yesterday seeing the baby The D&C is scheduled for Wednesday. I am so heartbroken...words just cant even explain it.

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is just an awful thing to go through, and there is really nothing that will help much but time....but you WILL get through it and everyday it will get a little easier.

Unfortunately, this is a very upsetting/difficult thing to get through, and at times it may seem like nobody else (friends, family, even DH) "gets it."

As the poster above siad: just take one day at a time.......only time really helps and its just one of those things that we have to suffer through.

Just remember that all the girls on this board have been there too and you can always turn to us.

I'm so sorry, and it's true you will have good days and you will have bad, for me both times after the d&c it got a little easier just b/c it was finally over no waiting just the beginning of moving on. You will be okay, and we're all here for you! Take it day by day all in your own time you will start to feel whole again I promise!!

WE ALL KNOW HOW HARD THIS IS AFTER LOOSING THE BABY . I WENT THROUGH THIS AND ITS STILL BREAKS MY HEART

I am so sorry for your loss... I know how heartbreaking it is to go through a m/c. but you will get through it one day at a time.. and it will eventually get better.... take as much time as you need to grieve...

It is such a terrible thing that you are going through. I am trully sorry for your loss and for all of the pain that you are going through!

I am so sorry for your loss. You will get through this in time. Allow yourself to be sad, angry, confused, in shock....it will get better soon. You are in my thoguhts.

I'm so sorry for your loss its devastating. I had a similar experience and have found this board to be huge help when no one in your life right now may seem to really get it. Know that we're all here for you.
