So clearly I need to get to the doctor right?

Here is my strange scenario. Tues night, I had nausea all of a sudden, vommited, felt like crap went to bed. I woke up at 6 a.m. to go vomit again and repeated this every 20 minutes until 9:30 a.m. followed by the chills and the sweats. I managed to get back in bed, sleep until 12:00 noon and then rested until 3:30 p.m. I got up at 4:30 p.m. and felt much better. I went out and ran some errands. The following day..my stomach was bothering me. I had some issues there..a little TMI so I won't go there but the stool.. was black like charchoal.
Today I wake up and my left gland in my throat is swollen and my throat is sore... so what the HECK is wrong with me? I am going to call my doc today, but has anyone been experiencing weird symptoms like this?

EDITED for update - Oh geez I just got an email that the cinch bars that I have are to be thrown out in the event they may contain the salmonella strain! This may be why I have been so sick. I am going to the doc tomorrow!!! I hope it is not THAT! Wish me well girls!!!

Sounds like everything that has been going around. The virus out there right now are terrible!! Feel better!

Did you take andy pepto-bismol? That can make your stool dark like that. If not, then go to the doc. I hope you feel better.

Vomiting and sore throat could be strep, could be a virus etc. It couldn't hurt to get checked out in case it is strep b.c you need antibiotics.

Oh no! The first thing I was going to ask is if you'd eaten any products with peanut butter in them lately. I hope it's not that.

I'm going through something similar. The week before last I had a sore throat for 3 days and then the nastiest cold I've ever had for another 3 days. Tuesday night of this week I started getting bad pains in my right side. Then Wednesday night I thought I was going to throw up and was extremely dizzy and lightheaded. Yesterday the pains subsided some but I felt nauseous all day. Today I have a horrible sore throat again, fever, runny nose, anything I drink or eat makes me want to throw up but I don't actually throw up. I'm going to the doctor first thing in the morning. I'm thinking it's strep. Hopefully you weren't affected by the samonila (sp?) outbreak! Feel better!
