Post D&C

Did you have any spotting or cramping? I am 2 days post D&C and am having both still. Is this normal? Did you resume normal exercise/activities (besides sex)?

My first D&C I didn't really bleed until 2 days after, then it didn't stop until about 3.5 weeks afterwards. (I was almost 12 weeks.)

The D&C I just had, I started bleeding after 2 days of very light spotting, but only bled for about a week and a half.

I resumed all normal activities (besides BDing)

From what you are describing, this sounds normal. I bled/spotted for a few days after.For some people, the spotting lasts a while....
as long as you are not bleeding heavily (soaking a pad in less than an hour), it is pretty normal.

If you are bleeding heavily or continue to worry....call the dr.

I am 3 days post D&C and I have very, very light spotting. I am on "pelvic rest" until Thursday when I see my doctor. I was also wondering about exercising but I figured that I would just wait until my appointment to ask him when I can start yoga and the treadmill again.

Today's 7 days after my D&C and I've finally stopped spotting. I had a little bit of cramping the first day, but had cramping for 3 days prior to the D&C, so it all depends on how your cervix is dilating, since I believe that's what causes the cramping. If you are bleeding a lot (like enough to fill a pad in an hour) I would go to the doctor or hospital if you're concerned.

I'm just about 3 weeks post.. i spotted (more like a light period) for about 9 days after, cramping was only a day or 2. My Dr. gave me a full week after before returning back to work. IF you are bleeding heavy I would call your Doc.

I had spotting and cramping for a few days after the D&C. I also had spotting for a little over 2 weeks afterwards.
I did resume normal activities - i didnt overdo it though. I took a few days off from work - more for emotional reasons.

I spotted for a few days after my D&C's. It's normal. They told me to wait a week before any "heavy" activity.

If you exercise - walk/treadmill/pilates, that is fine. I was told nothing like kickboxing or high intensity for a week. Don't lift heavy for a few days (over 20 lbs).
