asking for some help. Please.

Hi ladies, gents.



I am a 31 yr old mom to soon-to-be 3 yr old twins. I have been home with them from the begining. I found a Great school for them to go to for september. So now i am in need of a part time/ full time job.

I am very much interested in working in the schools. I have some college background but not a teaching career. I started out in pyshology and changed to accounting. I have not finished.

I am looking in the nassau/queens area. Can anyone point me in the right direction? and suggestions?

A lot of the schools in Queens have school aide positions. From there you can take classes and work your way up the ladder. NYC schools offer many opportunities. Good luck.

look into the NYS teacher's assistant certification. You will have to take a state test and then apply for it. Nassau BOCES should help you.
