References!! Urgent.

OK, I need some references by, like, 2 hours! My bad I really didn't even think abot it.

There's no way i'll use anyon from my most recent job.

I have a freind from my old job who I worked with - we were on different teams and her team helped train my team to do their work (we helped them out when they got swamped) and she was also responsible for checking my work in those instances. Is that an acceptable reference?

And can I use my old boss from that job? She was awesome, and already has said she'd give me a great reference. But since she was my boss, would she be contacted anyway?

Please help, I never have any clue what to do about references!

Most jobs like to see references from several different jobs though. I am late in responding though so hopefully it's worked out.

I used those 2... my most recent job, I don't really have anyone and the one person I can think about I am not sure she'd give me a good rec. The job these references are from (the 2nd most recent one) I had for 5 years so any job before that I don't have refs for.

I hate having to have refs. so much!! his temp agency does everything so differently than any agency I've ever used before!
